A 21-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder following a firearms incident in Slough, Berkshire, authorities have confirmed. The case is linked to an incident that took place on Earls Lane on 5 June, prompting a major police investigation.
Thames Valley Police said Lewis Shaw, from Slough, has been charged with three counts of attempted murder along with multiple firearms offences. These include possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
Police said Shaw has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear at Reading Crown Court on 6 July. The charges mark a significant development in an ongoing investigation into the violent incident.
Authorities also confirmed that six other men have been arrested in connection with the case. They have since been released on bail while inquiries continue.
In addition, a 19-year-old man remains in police custody on suspicion of assisting an offender. Investigators are continuing to examine his role in relation to the incident.
